Information for parents

This page contains information for parents. Whether your child is signed up to a school group, or you're thinking about bringing them for the first time, this page will guide you to the next steps.

My child is coming with a group (e.g. a school or scout group)

If your child is coming to a session with a school or scout group, led by one of our coaches, then we need you to complete a Coaching Acknowledgement of Risk & Registration Form.

The form explains the risks and expectations and is required for participation.

Coaching Acknowledgement of Risk & Registration Form

If you're not sure what they've signed up for, we are a bouldering centre, which is climbing (without ropes) above crash mats.

My child is coming to a session with a private coach

Please ensure that your child is registered by completing an Acknowledgment of Risk & Registration Form.

Acknowledgment of Risk & Registration Form

Even if the session is run by a private coach, it is essential that your child checks in at reception on the day.

I'd like to bring my child climbing

We have a number of options for bringing children climbing:

Start as a family

Our family induction session will introduce you to the safety and climbing skills to get started and use the centre without a coach in future.

Start in a class

Our Rock Stars classes offer a supervised session with a climbing coach, with children of a similar age. Your child must be 3 or over and be able to follow instructions from a coach leading the session. You'll need to come along and watch too.

Supervise your child

It's possible for a competent adult to supervise children. See our Supervise novices or juniors page for more information.
