Climb Newcastle News: A plug for CWIF
We don't normally go about advertising for other climbing walls but will make an exception this once for The Climbing Works, arguably the world's best bouldering wall south of Newcastle.
Every year they hold an event called CWIF, which you can think of as like a poor man's ASBO...Ok joking aside, the CWIF is an awesome competition, attended by some of the world's top climbers, and in recent year's we have sent a Climb Newcastle team down to take part in what's been a great event.
Last year the Works helped raise £1500 to get former British team Member Beth Monks mobile after a spinal injury and we wanted to write a post to give our appreciation for the Works selecting Andy (or Andy's chosen charity) to raise money for this year - we know Andy will be very happy and as we don't have enough staff to form a team this year we wish our best of luck in advance to the Works for the competition next weekend. Thanks guys!
