Coaching for Groups and Schools
Climbing is great fun, an enjoyable way to exercise and a very easy sport to get started in. Our coaching sessions can be tailored to the requirements of each group, some are looking for a one-off taster of the sport, others to build on skills over several weeks. We will teach you the basic safety and climbing techniques to enjoy the sport, and no matter what your age, you aren't too old for integrating fun games in with learning the climbing skills!
Whether you are a primary or high school, a youth club, scout or guide group, student club, or any other group of people of any age, there is an affordable and enjoyable group session for you at Climb Newcastle.

Students are truly inspired by the skilled coaches that deliver engaging and practical sessions full of challenge and achievement. Set courses are delivered at a pace that suits the student on the course; enabling everyone to make progress and gain in confidence. Route setting at the wall happens almost continually, there is always a new set of routes to tackle or a new competition to get involved in. As people who have been attending the wall for years we can honestly say, that regardless of your age or ability, you will never get bored or run out of great challenges and there is always just one left at the end of a session to keep you coming back for more!

The Climb Newcastle staff have always been excellent: through introducing basic techniques and encouraging beginners, to working on advanced techniques with better students (either through their academy programme or smaller individually run group sessions with Andy or Suzan). Their enthusiasm and knowledge is fantastic, and is one of the reasons why we have so many students taking a real interest in climbing.
