Andy Earl
Andy Earl requires little introduction. One of Britain's most successful climbers on both rock and plastic, Andy was British Bouldering Champion for 3 years running, took silver medal at the European Championships in Lecco in 2005 and won the 2007 World Cup in La Reunion. Outside Andy has climbed 8b+ bouldering and E9 trad, making many significant first ascents and repeats all over the world. Andy is a qualified sports scientist and has coached the Great Britain team at junior and senior level. He is now one of the owners of Climb Newcastle, writing and overseeing our extensive coaching programme. Read more about Andy
Chris Graham
Chris Graham was a British Bouldering Team member for five years, representing Great Britain at several international events and reaching a top 20 international position and a podium 3rd place at the 2003 British Championships in Edinburgh. Well known for his jumping skills, Chris has won several high profile international dyno opens. Outdoors in his home county of Northumberland, Chris has left his mark with several significant first ascents and repeats up to font 8a+ bouldering and E8 trad. Chris is the current coach to the North-East regional junior team and one of the Climb Newcastle owners. Read more about Chris
Suzan Dudink
Suzan Dudink is one of the strongest climbers to come out of Holland and is one of only a handful of female climbers worldwide to have climbed the magical font 8a grade. Suzan finished 3rd in the high profile outdoor climbing competition Mello Bloco in 2008 and has won several indoor events in Holland and Belgium. An athletics coach for 5 years, Suzan also works in the Sports Science department of Sunderland University.
Adam Watson
21 year old Adam Watson from Newcastle started climbing at the age of 7, and by 16 he was chosen for the British Junior Climbing Team, competing in the European Youth Climbing Championships. Adam is now a member of the Great Britain Senior Leading Team and won the 2008 British leading team trials, won the 2010 British Leading Ladder and finished 8th at the Climbing Works International Festival in 2009. Adam is also a keen outdoor climber, with quick ascents of several of Northumberland's classic and hardest routes up to trad E8.
