Kids Climbing at Climb Newcastle

Climb Newcastle is one of the only climbing walls in the UK to have a dedicated kids area, and implementing fun climbing lessons and developing young climbers is one of our core principles at the centre.

Our supervised sessions known as Rock Stars are incredibly popular, they are the starting point for youngsters who have never climbed before. However we also run group sessions for schools, scout groups and the like for all abilities, and a series of structured courses known as the Junior Academy that are producing some very talented climbers in the north east.

Then there are our birthday parties, there's nothing better for celebrating a birthday than our fun themed climbing sessions.

Rock Stars Supervised Sessions

Our super-popular supervised kids sessions cater for all abilities and ages from 3 and upwards. Rock Stars is the standard entry route into climbing for kids who have never climbed before, but equally we have many kids who love the sessions so much they have come weekly since we opened in 2008! Family Climbing Sessions

Birthday Parties

Our famous climbing birthday parties are a great way to celebrate growing a year older. Until recently we never actually advertised that we did birthday parties, yet we've hosted hundreds thanks to incredible word of mouth. Junior Coaching Academy

The Climb Newcastle Junior Coaching Academy is a more formal series of coaching sessions, building skills via a logbook-based course. Group Coaching
